Our handmade sets of bijou fine art notecards are a delightful way to send a mini message. With six A7 cards and three lovely original designs in each Little Notes set, there is plenty of variety and choice.
There are twelve different sets of A7 notecards in the Goldcrest Gallery Little Notes range. In contrast to our 5″ square notecards, which feature bold and geometric designs, the Little Notes emphasise pastel colours and floral motifs, with a more traditional feel. The artist has used more varied media, including crayons and felt tips, as well as ink and watercolour. The designs have a light, informal touch that exactly suits a short note, thank you card or a friendly invitation.
Palace Garden Designs
One of our most popular sets of A7 fine art notecards, ‘Palace Garden Set‘ has a beautiful sunny yellow colour scheme. Two of the designs were first conceived as embroidery patterns, with inspiration from wild flowers and grasses. The third design references the patterns of formal gardens, with clipped hedges and water features.
The ‘Palace Garden Set’ cards were originally handpainted in watercolour, which gives the designs their delicacy and luminosity. ‘Meadow Flowers’ features a lovely bouquet of wildflower blooms in a sweeping arrangement on a restful green background. ‘Satin Stitch Bouquet’ references embroidery stitches in each flower, and sets the group on a cheerful yellow backing. ‘Palace Garden’ continues the yellow theme, and brings a more structured aesthetic with hints of ordered gardens. With bright pink accent notes and mirrored symmetry, it is our namesake design for this Little Notes set.
Our Little Notes sets make beautiful and distinctive original gifts. Each A7 notecard is individually wrapped in eco-cellophane to give extra protection. The six little notecards are presented in classic white card wallets, which are all handmade in our studio. Our deliveries are wrapped in tissue paper and sent out in strong plastic-free cardboard envelopes, with a personal note and a pretty origami flower!
